2. World Events and Boss Hunts
World Events like Helltides and Gathering Legions offer a chance to drop Unique Items like the Hooves randomly. Additionally, World Bosses (e.g., Ashava, Wandering Death) have increased drop rates for high-rarity items on Torment difficulty or higher.
Even though the chance is lower than targeted bosses, frequent event participation can eventually yield the item-especially if you're playing in World Tier 4+.
3. Nightmare Dungeons
Nightmare Dungeons are a top-tier loot farm, offering:
High density of elite enemies
End chests with Sacred/Ancestral loot
Increased drop rate on Uniques at Tier 31+
Clearing multiple Nightmare Dungeons with high Glyph XP potential is a smart way to farm Hooves while progressing your build passively.
4. Gambling with Murmuring Obols
Visit the Purveyor of Curiosities and gamble for boots using Obols. Although RNG-based, this is a decent use for spare Obols and could result in a lucky Hooves drop.
Recommended Gambling Method: Stack up to 500-1,000 Obols
Focus only on boots to increase the odds
Tip: Boost your chances during Helltide Events, where Obol caps and buy D4 materials drop rates are higher.
