Totem Builds
Totem builds have been a staple of Path of Exile, and with POE 2’s planned changes, they are expected to Path of Exile 2 Currency remain competitive in the meta.
Predicted Dominant Totem Builds:
Flame Totems: Flame Totems have always been a strong choice for low-maintenance high-damage builds. With POE 2’s expected improvements to totem mechanics, such as more enhanced gem synergies and the ability to scale fire damage, Flame Totem builds could rise to the top. Totems can quickly melt through packs of enemies and bosses, making them ideal for players who prefer indirect engagement.
Herald of Agony Totem: This build focuses on using Herald of Agony to scale poison damage while maintaining distance from enemies. The poison/chaos aspect combined with totems allows for sustained damage, making it a highly flexible build that should perform well in a variety of POE 2’s new content.
Summon Totem Builds (Summon Skeletons or Summon Phantasms): These totem-based summoning builds will likely see further development with Ascendancy enhancements and new support gems in POE 2. Summon Totem builds allow players to summon a large number of minions, each dealing damage while keeping the player safe from harm.
